In 1995 Marika Kovalcikova came to Vancouver from Slovakia where
she was successful in the cultural community as a producer and manager
of many special events, festivals, concerts, audiovisual programs,
arts shows and dances.
Her first major Candian achievement was establishing a production
company that has been producing a Slovak television program, airing
weekly since 1997 on the Shaw Multicultural Channel. It was the
first Slovak TV program ever, to be broadcast in B.C.
Marika has produced and collaborated in many successful ventures.

She also organized tours of famous Slovak actors/comedians, Milan
Lasica & Julius Satinsky and Milan Markovic, in sold-out performances
in Vancouver, Seattle and Los Angeles. Gradually Marika's experience
grew and today, with her dedication to the Czech and Slovak community,
she encompasses the whole spectrum of international events and production
management.
